Conventions of a contents page.

Headings:
These are important for contents pages as it puts all the articles under catorgories making it easier for the reader to find the page they are looking for.

Article names:
Article names are an important convention of a contents page as they tell the reader what is in the magazine. Without article names reading a magazine would be very difficult as you would not know if what you were reading.

Page Reference Numbers:
Page reference numbers are found next to the article names so that the reader know what page a particular article would be found on so that they can read it.  Page reference numbers make it quick and easy way to find the article rather then having to flick through the magazine looking for something interesting to read.

Images:
Images are used frequantly used on content pages as they can be linked to a page easily just by having a number the image is linked to in a corner. Images can add colour to a contents page and they usually follow the colour scheme of the front cover that the rest of the magazine will follow.
